AES Launches New Marketing Campaign

Advanced Energy Systems of Oregon is announced today, that in conjunction with the airing of ABC's Extreme Makeover Home Edition episode on Halloween Night, their first television commercial will air. With a theme of "Advance It", and a tag line of "Solar that Works", this new commercial will highlight, and publicize the past and future success of AES in the area of commercial and residential solar integrations.

As part of the Extreme Makeover Home Edition episode, filmed on location in Salem Oregon, AES was an integral part of the construction, and installed a solar array on the new Oregon School for the Deaf. The 6kW Photovoltaic system was installed in just under 8 hours, and features solar modules donated by Sanyo Corporation, and an inverter donated by PV Powered. AES employees and technicians designed, and installed the array, along with providing the electrical components and racking.

The new commercial, produced by  the award winning advertising firm of Adams, Hull + MacCluer, is a testament to Solar Energy, and was extremely well received in local focus group testing.

The new commercial will air on October 31st, 2010 during ABC's broadcast beginning at 8:00 PM, and will be seen in the Willamette Valley, and coastal markets of Oregon.

All Electric Prius Debuts in Eugene

Advanced Energy Systems was on hand to witness the public viewing of a new All Electric Prius Hybrid. The event was held today at the Eugene Train Station, and Mayor Kitty Piercy was on hand to talk about this new technology, and how it relates to the City in it's ongoing effort to promote sustainability. The new Prius can be charged by electricity, and it can operate for an estimated 14 miles before it then switches over to the traditional electric/fuel hybrid mode of power.

Advanced Energy Systems(AES) is currently promoting and gearing up to install Electric Vehicle Charging stations throughout Eugene, and Lane County. AES has developed an EV station coupled with a Solar SunStation that can generate power via a Solar Array, and also charge the Electric Vehicles. AES is a qualified installer of EV Fueling Stations. In the coming months AES will be installing EV Charging stations at private businesses, and has made plans to be part of the public integration of EV Charging stations.
